Integrative psychotherapy and counselling
Support and education for healing, growth, and an embodied connection to life.
My name is Phoebe. I am a qualified integrative psychotherapist and counsellor working online or in-person from a peaceful rainforest studio near Mullumbimby.
I am here to support you in building greater emotional awareness and self-understanding, helping you expand your capacity to be with whatever life brings so you can trust in your ability to move through the challenging moments.
In our sessions, we might look at past or current experiences that influence how you think, feel, and connect with others. This could involve working with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, grief, or emotions that are difficult to feel or understand. Therapy with me provides a safe space to unpack what's happening inside, gain clearer insight into yourself, and find new ways to respond to life's complexities.
I draw from evidence based theories and approaches such as; attachment theory, trauma theory, somatic practices, IFS and metacognitive approaches. With over a decade as an educator, I also provide information and strategies to help you understand yourself and your patterns.
For some, starting therapy may feel easeful and for others, a bit scary. I have a special passion for supporting people just beginning their inner exploration and healing path, so I encourage you to reach out if you’d like to ask any questions or talk through what beginning therapy might look like before booking a session.
Warmly,
Phoebe
Welcome.
I celebrate the rich diversity of human experience, warmly welcoming people of all genders, bodies, abilities, cultural backgrounds, and ways of loving and relating.
Always was, always will be.
I acknowledge that my practice is located on the lands of the Arakwal, Minyangbal and Widjabul Wia-bal peoples of the Bundjalung Nation. I honour the ongoing rich culture and ancient healing practices that have taken place and continue to take place on this land. I recognise that sovereignty was never ceded and that I live and work on stolen land. I wish to do my part to contribute to a more collaborative, respectful and sincere engagement with the facts of our history and the demands of the present, so we may together, build a stronger, more connected future.
